The MIPS lining is a safety feature that is starting to be found on many high-end bike helmets now. It is a membrane that allows a 10 to 15 mm slide of the helmet over the skull in order to effectively dissipate part of the energy from an impact and diffuse it laterally.

There are 13 air inputs and outlets to ensure optimal ventilation.

The two lowest vents have a particularly wide opening so that you can pass a U when you park.
