On one pedal case with french thread, the left bowl is screwed in the direction Schedule, the right bowl (side chain) is also screwed in the direction Schedule. This can be useful for you to know what type of enclosure you need to use.
French threading (35x1mm): French threading is a type of threading used mainly on old French bikes and some classic bikes. The dimensions of the French thread are 35 millimetres of external diameter with a 1 millimetre pitch. The step is the distance between two adjacent ridges in the thread, and in the case of the French thread it is 1 mm.
